This is the minimum necessary to be a home inspector in NYS, but I go above and beyond that. I am a member of the InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). as a member of InterNACHI, I am required to take 24 hours of continuing education A YEAR, twice what NYS requires.
